When you empower one woman you not only change her life but you change the lives of the next generation as well. Women can drive positive change in their families  and communities when they are given opportunity. Through programs that  prevent as well as help survivors of human trafficking we can make a positive change in Nepal for today and for the future. Through your partnership we can do this by supporting education, funding restoration programs for survivors and by offering long-term employment.

Education creates opportunity, and opportunity helps stop the cycle of human-trafficking. In Nepal education is very expensive and this can make it difficult to ensure that families can give all their children the chance to learn.  We want to ensure that the children of our staff get an education, so every year we give scholarships to keep children in school. One of our staff said this about the support given for her daughter to go to school, "Without education, my kids will not be able to learn to read and write, therefore, they are more likely to be taken advantage of. Education is important to being successful and getting a good job. My parents did not see education as very important, but I want my kids to have a better life than I did. My favorite thing is when my daughter comes home and tells me what she has learned in school. She has just learned about sharing, so she came home and told me that she shared her food and toys with her friends."
